dhandar cheyeo jotil jokhon
tomar chokher bhasa,
pase thekew jay ja chhNoya
brithha-ei kachhe aasa.
aamar aami-ke hariye fele
tomar kothha-ei bhabi,
tumi mane tala sudhu,
jarhariye gechhe chabi.
jokhon tumi amay dako
tomar duar khule-
chhute amay astei hoy
sokol baNdhon bhule.
tumi tokhon ar dekhona
amar dike cheye,
aami tobu ashay thaki
kripa-prarthhi hoye.
keno amay deke feraw
mithye obhiman-e?
kono kothha bolte ki chaw
sudhu-ei kane kane?
aami-ei hoyto bujhina tomay
bujhina tomar bhasa,
suni kolahol,bujhi kolorob
bhule gechhi bhalobasa.
nirob thekew bolchho tumi
kon se eetihas,
gachher chhaya-y,hawar kothha-y
